Our standard lease is a 12-month rental contract.  Many of our tenants have called Maplewood home for years.  In fact, we have tenants who lived here as kids, grew up and started their own family, and now live here in their own home!

To qualify to live here, you must have verifiable income, references (preferably from a current landlord), and pass a criminal background check.

In some cases, tenants are allowed to have a small dog or cat.  There are strict guidelines, and any animal must be approved in advance.  There is a $50 per month fee for any dog or cat.  A pet must be approved in advance by the manager.

We offer clean, safe, affordable housing and pride ourselves in how well the homes and property are maintained.

Many of our tenants have lived here for years.  They find Maplewood a great place to make friends, raise families, and retire.

We also have a very limited number of empty lots available for your own mobile home.  Call the office for more information.

Tenants enjoy a potluck dinner at a recent picnic for the Maplewood community.

Our families are eager to express their lifestyles.

Neighbors enjoy a fun game of volleyball on a sunny afternoon.

A Simple Life

The Amish call it "Plain and simple."  We call it the Maplewood way.  Our community of Hardinsburg is in the country, yet we still have the county hospital, churches, a new library, Walmart, and great schools.

Do you like to see the stars at night?  Stroll down the road and talk to your neighbors?  Share recipes and gardening tips with friends?  Drive down country roads and take in the gorgeous scenery?  You can find it all here.

Boating, fishing, hunting, swimming, and golfing are all near by.  Or maybe you prefer to look for bargains at consignment stores or roadside stands.  It's all in our back yard!

There are activities for the kids too, from swimming at the community pool, to school sports.

The Fighting Tigers are the pride of Breckinridge County. In addition to the acclaimed high school, an excellent middle school and elementary school are also very close to Maplewood.

Our new library is just a short two-block walk.  The tower over the kids room is designed like a corn silo.

Kids of all ages enjoy the lake at Rough River State Park during the summer.

Families appreciate the safe atmosphere, as tneir kids quickly make friends.
